COVID-19 Update
The 2020 IEEE Global Communications Conference (Globecom) will be held physically in Taipei as scheduled from 7 to 11, December 2020. The organizing team is closely monitoring the development of the COVID-19 situation. In case of travel restrictions that prohibit physical appearance, video presentation will be accepted as an alternative of presentation.

Welcome to IEEE GLOBECOM 2020!
The 2020 IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM) will be held in the lively and picturesque city of Taipei, Taiwan, from 7 to 11 December 2020.
Themed “Communications for Human and Machine Intelligence,” this flagship conference of the IEEE Communications Society will feature a comprehensive high-quality technical program including 13 symposia and a variety of tutorials and workshops. IEEE GLOBECOM 2020 will also include an attractive industry program aimed at practitioners, with keynotes and panels from prominent research, industry and government leaders, business and industry panels, and technological exhibits.
Among its industry sessions and exhibitions, IEEE GLOBECOM 2020 will host the 7th Taipei 5G Summit, which will be organized by the 5G Technology Program Office (5GO), Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT), the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Taiwan. Since 2014, the Taipei 5G Summit has been an annual event that brings internationally renowned industry experts to share their insights on the development of 5G technologies and attracts hundreds of professionals representing supervisory authorities, policymakers, operators and key telecommunication companies. The Taipei 5G Summit is extremely informative, and is a great platform for its participants to build connections!
